Voices Unveiled is a three-part original musical composition by Ehsan Matoori, blending Iranian traditional and folk music in a modern way, particularly from the South of Iran, with modern fusion elements. The work features the powerful voices of two Iranian female vocalists, Maliheh Moradi and Mina Deris, and gives space to stories that are often silenced.
The composition follows the emotional journeys of two women seeking freedom, identity, and self-expression beyond the constraints imposed on them.
Launched in February 2023, Voices Unveiled has been performed over 40 times across North America, reaching more than 15,000 audience members. Signature pieces such as Ashireh, Darya, Moon's Hiding, and Freedom Story have resonated deeply with listeners and were widely praised. Across all performances, the project has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from diverse audiences and communities.
In recognition of its artistic and cultural impact, Voices Unveiled was awarded the New Music USA 2023 Award. The project continues to tour internationally and will remain on stage through the end of 2025, bringing these powerful stories and voices to the world.
آواهای خروشان یک اثر موسیقایی سه‌بخشی از احسان مطوری است که با الهام از موسیقی سنتی و محلی ایران، با نگاهی مدرن و بهره‌گیری از عناصر موسیقی تلفیقی خلق شده است. در این پروژه، دو خواننده توانمند زن ایرانی، ملیحه مرادی و مینا دریسی، با صدای خود روایتگر داستان‌هایی هستند که سال‌ها در سکوت مانده‌اند.
این اثر، سفر احساسی دو زن را روایت می کند که در جست‌وجوی آزادی، هویت و خودبیانگری، محدودیت‌ها را پشت سر می‌گذارند.
پروژه آواهای خروشان از فوریه ۲۰۲۳ آغاز شده و تاکنون بیش از ۴۰ بار در سراسر آمریکای شمالی به روی صحنه رفته و بیش از ۱۵٫۰۰۰ نفر تماشاگر را به خود جذب کرده است. قطعاتی مانند عشیره، دریا، ماه کجاست؟ و داستان آزادی از محبوب‌ترین بخش‌های این اجرا بوده‌اند و بازخوردهای بسیار مثبتی از سوی تماشاگران دریافت کرده‌اند.
در سال ۲۰۲۳، این پروژه به پاس تاثیر هنری و فرهنگی خود، موفق به دریافت جایزه New Music USA شد. آواهای خروشان تا پایان سال ۲۰۲۵ در قالب اجراهای زنده در صحنه‌های جهانی ادامه خواهد یافت و به زبان موسیقی، روایتگر مقاومت، زیبایی و صدای زنانی خواهد بود که سال‌ها شنیده نشده‌اند.
